HYDROLYSED MARINE COLLAGEN
Collagen is one of the most abundant proteins in the human body. When we have enough, it keeps our skin supple and elastic whilst giving other body tissues form, strength and firmness. Unfortunately, the reality is that as we age, our bodies are no longer able to produce collagen at the level they once did. To help combat this our Acti-Complexe contains pure concentrates of Hydrolysed Marine Collagen. This type of collagen was carefully selected for our Complexe because of its smaller peptides giving them greater bioavailability in the dermis layers of the skin cells.
HYALURONIC ACID
Hyaluronic Acid is a naturally occurring sugar found in the skin – the human body contains around 15 grams of it which it recycles daily. It is classed as a humectant as it’s incredibly hydrating and can hold 1,000 times its own weight in water. It draws water into the skin like a sponge, plumping and restoring firmness. As the body ages, our natural production of Hyaluronic Acid slows down which can lead to premature signs of ageing in the skin such as fine lines and wrinkles.
EARTH MARINE SEAWATER
Seawater found penetrating the Earth’s crust, slowly seeps through various geological layers and as it reaches the Earth’s surface it acquires its mineral content creating this exceptional water, Earth Marine Seawater, possesses unique and beneficial properties; detoxifying, remineralising and strengthening.
